We are thrilled to announce the launch of WWOOF Tanzania, a new local organization that will manage WWOOF activities in Tanzania. This means that starting April 28th, any host located in Tanzania will be transitioning from WWOOF Independents to WWOOF Tanzania.
What Does This Mean for WWOOFers?
-
After April 28th, if you wish to contact farms in Tanzania, you will need to visit the WWOOF Tanzania website instead of the WWOOF Independents site.
-
Your profile, reviews, and all of your conversations will be automatically migrated to WWOOF Tanzania, so you don’t need to worry about losing any data. All your information will stay intact – you'll just log in on a different site.
-
Memberships: If you have an active membership with WWOOF Independents, it will also be activated on WWOOF Tanzania at no extra cost, alongside your membership with WWOOF Independents. If, for any reason, you log into WWOOF Tanzania and notice that your membership hasn’t been activated, please contact Evarist, the local coordinator for WWOOF Tanzania, and he will ensure your membership is granted free of charge.
What Does This Mean for Hosts in Tanzania?
-
Hosts in Tanzania don’t need to do anything! All hosts will be migrated automatically to the WWOOF Tanzania platform, and their membership will be maintained without any action required from them.
We are excited about this new step, and we hope this change will make it easier for you to connect with the WWOOF community in Tanzania. As always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch! Evarist, the local coordinator for WWOOF Tanzania, is available for any support you might need.
Thank you for being part of our community, and we look forward to continuing this journey together with WWOOF Tanzania!
