As WWOOF is organised by country, you need to join WWOOF in the country where your farm, homestead or garden is situated. You can see the complete list of countries here.
In order to sign up as a host, once you are on your local WWOOF website, next create an account and then select Become a Host.
You will be asked to provide a description of your farm, the activities you will teach WWOOFers, desired length of stay for WWOOFers, types of accommodation you offer, which months you accept visit requests, nearby public transportation, languages spoken, whether pets or children are accepted, and more. Make sure to go through every step, including uploading photos of your farm, and paying your membership fee.
Once you’ve paid the fee, our team will review your application within five business days. During this period, we may contact you to obtain additional information or to complete additional steps.
If your application is approved, you will receive an email informing you that your profile was published. If your application is not approved because you do not meet our host requirements, your membership fee will be fully refunded [1].
Once approved, you'll become a member of the WWOOF organization where your farm is located. Memberships are valid for one year from the day they are purchased.
[1] By law, WWOOF Italy is not authorized to offer refunds on memberships.
