This is a one-day visit between hosts and WWOOFers that live near one another. Accommodations are not provided.
Local WWOOFing is a great way for WWOOFers to visit a farm in their neighborhood, meet local farmers, try out WWOOFing near home, and connect with their farm community.
This is also a great option for new farms without infrastructure, urban or community farms and gardens, or any hosts that are interested in connecting with WWOOFers that already live in their town or area. Local hosts are welcome to share a meal or send home produce with visiting WWOOFers, if they can. Local WWOOFing can be a great way to build sustaining relationships with WWOOFers who can regularly commute to a farm or project.
