WWOOF encourages all members to share their feedback. Our community operates largely on trust and with open, honest, and clear communication. Public feedback should therefore be factual, concise, neutral, and not offensive in any way. It should be useful to both the member that receives feedback and the whole WWOOF community.
If a public comment is in violation of this policy, we may have to delete or edit it. Repeated violations may result in the suspension or permanent deactivation of the account concerned.
Violations of the feedback policy include, but are not limited to, the following actions:
- Posting insulting or hateful comments, or personal attacks;
- Posting content unrelated to WWOOFing;
- Posting personal opinions;
- Posting rumors or other information from third parties;
- Sharing private conversations without having obtained permission from the person you were speaking with;
- Sharing personal data (full names, farm names, exact locations, contact information, or links to other websites);
- Submitting a review on behalf of a third party;
Please avoid posting personal opinions about your WWOOFing experience or anyone involved, and stick to the facts.
Ex. Instead of making a judgement such as: The host was unfriendly and had no respect, please describe in a neutral way what actually happened: The host frequently raised their voice at me, and I felt uncomfortable.
