Yes, members can initiate communication with WWOOFers if permission is granted by the WWOOFer.
If you, as a WWOOFer, allow it, hosts and/or fellow WWOOFers can contact you. Your profile will appear in the WWOOFer list, making you accessible for invitations and other messages from the community.
If you choose not to allow neither hosts nor WWOOFers to initiate communication, your profile will not be listed. However, you can still send visit requests to hosts to arrange your WWOOF stays, and any hosts you contact can respond to your requests. Additionally, you will retain the ability to contact other WWOOFers directly.
To adjust your communication settings, go to your WWOOFer profile, click on "Your plans," and make your selection there.
This flexibility ensures that you control how and when you interact with the WWOOF community while still being able to participate in the opportunities available.
