Your host profile includes a calendar that shows when you do or don’t accept visit requests, and when you already have visits planned with WWOOFers.
Keeping your calendar up to date clearly communicates your availability so WWOOFers can determine whether it makes sense to contact you for specific dates.
From your host profile settings, you can indicate:
- Months when you typically host WWOOFers
- Specific unavailable date ranges within those periods when you are not hosting
WWOOFers cannot send you a visit request for the dates that you have set as unavailable.
When a visit request is confirmed, the corresponding dates appear on your calendar as planned visits, indicated by a small dot under the day. Planned visits provide context to WWOOFers: you will already be hosting someone during that time, but you may still have availability, depending on your situation.
Keeping your calendar accurate helps reduce unnecessary requests and sets clear expectations before conversations begin.
