- Log in to your account
- Click on your profile picture (on a computer) or "Account" (on a phone, tablet, or in the WWOOF app)
- Click on "Host Profile"
In the “Host profile” section, you can update all of your profile information. For example, to add or remove photos, select "Photos", to manage your calendar select "Availability".
Your "Profile description" is the first impression you'll make on WWOOFers. It should be written to help WWOOFers to get a clear idea of what to expect so they can make a well-informed request:
- Talk about yourself and your family;
- Explain your project and why sustainable agriculture is important to you;
- Describe the farming activities in which WWOOFers can participate;
- Describe the accommodation options offered to WWOOFers;
- Mention the food preparation, dietary preferences, and meal sharing options that work for you;
- Give some details about your everyday life and what the WWOOFers can get involved with;
- Give some details about the climate and terrain of your farm;
- Present the leisure and tourist attractions in the area;
- List any farm rules;
- Post photos of you, your property (garden, animals, accommodation, etc) and, when you have some, you can post photos with WWOOFers;
- If possible, write your description in several languages.
Be careful also to respect the following rules:
- Disclose on your profile and in communication with WWOOFers if your host farm is also a religious or spiritual organization, and if any religious practices, events or behaviors are required of visitors to the farm;
- WWOOF organizations do not tolerate any kind of legally recognized discrimination. Nor do WWOOF organizations tolerate any form of sexism, harassment, or sexual violence. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members, and require all hosts and WWOOFers to abide by this policy. This is valid both for your profile and throughout your WWOOF membership.
